One of six chosen from throughout Ireland by a panel of international judges, to participate in a project entitled GOLD: Contemporary Irish Jewellery Design. Initiated by the Crafts Council of Ireland, it was an extensive exercise in creating, exhibiting, promoting, producing and retailing 18ct gold jewellery to both trade and consumer markets at home and abroad. The subsequent Loop Collection’s fundamental shape is based on the ‘flourish’ reminiscent of Elizabethan scripts and scrolls.
